XXX Black Male 4 U offers "free lifetime memberships", but as with all such offers, you're getting what you pay for. The lifetime membership allows you into the membership area where you can see what all of the content is (but not actually look at any of it). In reality what it's doing is bringing you into a membership that is filled with more advertisements than the yellow pages of your phone book. Live cam sites, dating sites, sex toy sites, video on demand sites -- you name it. They're linking to it and all of it is an upsell where the website makes money for every sale they generate from you.
To see the actual content, you'll need to upgrade to a full membership. We aren't fully sure how much that costs, as you need to give them a credit card to use the free membership and we weren't about to do that. The fine print in their conditions though suggests that it's $49.97/month. Viewers should also be aware that some sites (not this one) use affiliate links that offer a 3 day trial for about $4. That trial will rebill at $49.97, making it absurdly expensive as far as porn website prices go.
All of this isn't to say that the website doesn't actually have content. It does -- by our count in mid-February 2010, there were 78 video DVDs available. Each DVD has 4-5 scenes, so you're talking about roughly 250 15-or-so minute scenes. The DVDs are by obscure and lower-end companies, or middle-size ones from when they were first starting out.
The videos are advertised as being high-definition, but this was a bit of misnomer. We gave it to them anyway. They may have been filmed in high-definition, but when they were made into downloadable video files they were made smaller in size. The bitrate (ie; amount of information being displayed each second) on the videos we checked out was very high though so if you play them at 200% size you'll still get an good picture. It won't be as crystal-clear as true high-definition video should be, but since true hi-def video is so rare on the web these days we'll give it to them. Expect us to tighten up our rules on being listed as hi-def in 2012 or 2013 as the format becomes more popular.
There was no announced release schedule that I could find. They're still adding videos, but not regularly. The photo sets were updated stopped updating in May of 2009.
It is worth mentioning that this site is extremely similar in design as Absolutely Male (which your membership also includes). The two sites do not appear to overlap content. We didn't check every video and photo set for duplication, but the random sample we looked were not on both sites.
While Absolutely Male has a large list of content feeds that it has available, there is no link on this website to those feeds. Since some of them are of Black men and would be of interest to users of this website, it may be worth heading over to Absolutely Male even if you're just there for the content feeds about Black men. Access to Absolutely Male is included in the price, so you might as well take advantage of it.
When joining XXX Black Male 4 U, you will notice a series of website listed that you also gain access to. It is worth noting that only Absolutely Male has the same content (and more) as the other websites, so you can safely ignore the other three websites.
