Credits cost between 11.5 and 13 cents each depending on how big of a package you buy. Since streaming video only costs 0.8 credits per minute, this runs to about 9-11 cents per minute. The website says that packages can cost as little as 8 cents per minute but based on the package prices and the credit/minute ratio we couldn't figure out how they arrived at that claim. (Why they decided on 0.8 credits/minute instead of 1 credit per minute is beyond me. Rounding it up to 1 and bumping all "credit costs" up by 25% would have been a lot more simplistic).
Based on a small random sample of several of their selections it appears that streaming a video in Flash format costs approximately 0.8 credits/10 cents per minute, while downloading a video in Windows Media Player format runs 40 credits/about $5.20 per video (half that for a single scene). Downloads are rentals only and will only play for a few days before the license expires.
Credits purchased at SEVP and ManCinemix are good on both sites.
