The content on Rookie Guys is exclusive at the moment, although probably only because it is a new website. The business model of the company places all of their exclusive materials in content feeds made available to other websites. We fully expect all but the newest content on this website to eventually be made available to other adult websites.
All scenes are available in Windows Media Player format. Newer scenes are downloadable, available in high-definition resolution, and also available with Macromedia Flash.
Trial memberships do not have the ability to download videos. During the first month of a regular membership users can download up to 24 video scenes. In subsequent months users can download 48 per month. This number is only full-length scenes, and not the clips of part of a scene. Because of this limit, we recommend users stream the video for a while to find a scene they like, then download the entire scene (not just a clip of part of the scene) in the resolution available.
Please note that the default "broadband" resolution isn't the highest -- you have to switch it to HD to get high-definition. Make sure you have the right resolution or you'll waste one of the downloads of your "monthly scene allotment". The downloads will take a while (perhaps 20 minutes per scene) on a high-speed connection, but the quality of the video is worth the wait.

Rookieguys.com advertises itself as a site featuring videos of guys getting their first taste of gay sex. If you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you. Great terms. However, you shouldn't let that discourage you from checking out this site. There is a decent-sized collection of videos featuring mostly young and attractive, but by no means model-perfect, lads having their way with each other. The amateur models are sometimes from Eastern Europe or Latin America. Other times they are local boys. The sex is mostly vanilla, nothing exceptional or off the beaten path. Performances, as they are wont to be in amateur sites, vary in their skill and intensity. The site also has a variety of other features in addition to the basic video catalog. Read full review

"Rookie Guys features hot gay guys finding and seducing gay first timers into having gay anal sex with each other while it's all recorded on video." I don't buy the "first timer" thing, but hey, it's a fantasy I'll go with it. The are hot guys having anal sex with other hot guys, so technically it does deliver on what it promises, it just doesn't deliver much of what it promises. The amount of content is surprisingly tiny. On the outside, RookieGuys.com looks like any other above average gay porn site, and certainly it's one with some good membership options, including a trial, 3-day membership for just $1.95. Once inside the site as a member, it's a bit confusing as you try to figure out where all the photos and video are hiding; but once you do, there's a lot of different porn to enjoy. Read full review
