Firstauditions.com is a site that features men "auditioning" to be porn stars. Like most niche sites, you need to suspend your disbelief that these are actual auditions and the models don't know what is happening. First Auditions is a reality site featuring interviews of mostly English lads who are responding to an advertisement for male porn models. Reality is the key word. There are other sites with an interview as part of the theme, but they are largely a set-up - the guys are in on the game and some of the dialog sounds rehearsed. The guys in First Auditions are natural with some of the nervousness that one would expect in such a situation. Read full review

All credit card memberships are subject to a $1.95 "processing fee". This can be avoided if the user joins via their "alternate processor". The primary payment processor, Verotel, has an excellent reputation in the business for treating customers well, while we know less about their alternate processor, SegPay. So for users that are very cautious about giving out their credit card details, it might be worth enduring the processing fee.
The website also states that it offers memberships via online check and European direct debit, but we were unable to get either method to work.
Unlike some "porn audition" websites, these scenes on this website are, in fact, real auditions. The model's pages usually let you know what additional work by the company, if any, in which the model appeared. These photo sets and videos are on other websites (membership not included), but it'll let you know the name of the scene and on what website it appears so you can find it if you wish. Several explicit promotional pictures are usually provided as well.
As of our last peek inside First Auditions (July 2010), the website was touting a misleading number of videos. It claimed to have 3,923 videos. Which is true, but only if you consider both a low-resolution and a high-resolution version of a video to count as two videos. A more accurate number is approximately 2,350 videos of 727 different models on the website.
