Does XonDemand deliver what it promises on the outside?

The big claim is 19665 movies. I have to confess I didn't count them to check this figure, but it's clear from a quick look round the site that it contains a lot of porn. And I mean a lot.

What's good about XonDemand? What needs improvement?

The sheer quantity of movies on offer is undoubtedly a good point. A whole range of categories are listed, and whichever one you explore, there's plenty of choice. There are a few ways of finding what you want, too. You can search by title, studio, director, or star. You can browse through each category. And there's a clever feature which allows you to combine two categories, so it's easy to find a twink orgy, or a Latino shower scene. Oh, and if you're into straight, lesbian, or fetish films, there's plenty for you too.

The site delivered the movies pretty fast two, without a long buffering wait, and the picture quality was reasonable.

However, it stuck me that despite the thousands of movies, some of the big studios appeared not to be represented (they probably want to sell you pay-per-view direct). And many of the films, even outside the "Classics" category, looked to have been made a good few years ago.

There's a brief description of each film, and a picture of the box front, but nothing else to help a browser know what to expect from a movies. And while some other pay-per-view sites split movies into scenes, so it's easy to find exactly what you want, this site delivers the whole film in one go, so you could spend valuable minutes trying to locate the start of the action.

How is XonDemand unique?

This site shares many features with other pay-per-view sites. I don't think it's unique at all. In fact it's probably not even trying to be unique.

What do paying users recieve for their money?

Users get access to lots of films, in a workmanlike but unspectacular way.

I tried to compare prices with a few other similar sites, and found them pretty similar. It's difficult to compare exactly, because different sites sell different numbers of minutes.

One good thing is that you have have a good look round before spending any money at all. Then if you see something you like, you can put in as many or a few dollars as you like.
