Does TheNetGp deliver what it promises on the outside?

The Net GP is a web pioneer featuring exclusive Euro twink videos and picture sets. The headline says original megasite and that may have been true in the early days of Internet dial-up. Today, however, the term megasite no longer applies. There is lots of content, including links to other sites, but the quantity and the technology doesn't measure up to newer sites.

The preview tour accurately portrays the content so there should be no unhappy surprises for those who join.

What's good about TheNetGp? What needs improvement?

The boys are clearly laid out on the opening page with a nice size pic, a user rating, date added, the number of pics and, if applicable, the number videos available. Everything is straightforward and easy to navigate with options to arrange the boys by name, date added or rating. Navigation buttons at the bottom of the page scroll to additional pages of content.

Clicking a photo on the opening page takes you to the boy's homepage where there are thumbnails from the photo sets and screen captures from video content. Clicking a photo here opens up the set in a new page with a dozen thumbnails and navigation buttons for additional photos. Clicking one of these thumbnails opens a large version of the pic. Pics are so large that you need to scroll to get the whole view. Resolution is very high making it possible to count shafts of hair. Photo sets can be downloaded in a zip file. A slideshow option would be a nice improvement.

All models have photos sets on the site but only some have video content. There is a sort option on the opening page to show only models with videos. The videos are split into scenes from full length features and are not necessarily uploaded to the site in sequential order as would be seen in the full length video. There is no video streaming option. All videos play in Windows Medea Player and must be downloaded in a zip file before you can watch them. Video resolution is only average - about VHS quality.

Production values for both photos and videos are above average. Not the best lighting in many cases and set design is an afterthought, but enjoyable nonetheless, especially if uncut twinks are your pleasure.

How is TheNetGp unique?

All of the content is exclusive. There is a video museum with clips created for a dial-up world. Some guys may enjoy the nostalgia.

What do paying users recieve for their money?

At the 90 day rate membership is less than half the price of a daily latte. Still, that may only be a bargain for dedicated Euro twink lovers. Now I love Euro twinks, but I need some American meat on a regular basis to be truly satisfied.
