Does Straight College Men deliver what it promises on the outside?

Does this site deliver? Does it EVER!!! What you are probably looking at when you arrive, is either one of the most well-constructed, well-perpetrated online hoaxes ever, or it's the closest thing to what happens when a hardcore "twinklover" dies and goes to their version of H-E-A-V-E-N! Using animated graphics, the entry page highlights the man who is essentially the "star" of 2SCM (the site nickname), the buff, beefy, 27-year-old Dean. Now, to the estimable credit of "Matt," the webmaster, creator and twink connoisseur of 2SCM.com, I have never been what you would call a "twink-lover", when it comes to my personal tastes in men, (I prefer them a little more...shall we say, seasoned by about, oh, ten or twenty years beyond the average age of the models on this site.) But with a little more time spent here, I could actually become a convert...it is THAT freakin' good!!!

What's good about Straight College Men? What needs improvement?

Ah, now to the goodies....Where is one to begin? The content is 100% ORIGINAL. There's not many sites you can say that about these days, amongst the hundreds of THOUSANDS of gay adult sites that exist now. The video clips are crisp and clear, and lose very little resolution when you go to full screen mode in Windows Media or Real Player, (and they've thought of everything in that respect...you can choose from cable modem or broadband for access, or downloadable clips for slower computers.) The sound is just as awesome as the picture, so much so that during a quiet moment in one clip, I could swear I heard the cameraman's heavy breathing as he watched and even got a 'hand' in the action, (also Matt, if I'm not mistaken.)

Now, class, time for a pop quiz: in your introduction here to Yours Truly, what did I state was my BIGGEST pet peeve? Say it with me, boyz and queenz: sllloooowwww-loooaaading web pagezzzzzz. I don't know if it's because of heavy traffic on the server, the top-heavy content of the pages themselves, my own computer's proclivity for ass-dragging at the wrong times, or a combination of all three. But be warned: at times, pages have taken upwards of THREE MINUTES OR LONGER to load completely into your browser. Note to Webmaster Matt: you wanna get a higher overall score on your site, dude? This is the one thing you need to fix and PRONTO. Damn good thing the guys you have here are worth waiting for, AFAIC. Other visitors to 2SCM may not be so patient or understanding.

How is Straight College Men unique?

What makes 2SCM.com so unique is what also impressed me the most: the way in which the whole concept is presented. At no time do you ever get the impression that the models are anything more or less than what they say they are...horny young guys out to become web porn stars and/or make some good bucks with their bitchin' bods; some could still be in college, while others could be out-of-work grads, or just average joes with more-than-average looks, seeking to supplement below average paychecks. (Aren't we all?)

And yeah, unlike other sites that would like you to believe that they feature "STRAIGHT GUYS GONE GAY!", this comes across as the REAL deal. 2SCM.com 'Superstar' Dean and Matt's close-second fave "Boston" Paul, in one clip together won't perform certain acts on Matt's notorious "to-do" list as directed, unless coaxed into it by the lure of LOTS of MOOLAH, some which is even shown on-screen at one point! This particular clip being the first time that either guy has (allegedly) been with another man sexually on tape, the awkward hesitation and discomfort is so palpable that it can't be faked, (if these guys were THAT good at acting, they wouldn't and shouldn't be doing porn, but 'regular' movies!)

I don't know how or where Matt got his financing from (wanna give a fellow webhead some tips, Mister? LOL!) but every bit of the money is up there, in both the design, execution and the product, not to mention that aforementioned brilliance in his salesmanship skills. You'll want to see the preview clips for each model, just for the hell of it! Each one is a master class in the art of the "come-on" tease, especially the ones that give you a tantalizing taste of the best clips (Dean together with the hilariously hunky Brett, whose solo has to be seen to be believed, and Dean again with the older (29), less buff but no less hot or willing Lucca, one of my personal faves here.)

That stylistic sense extends to each "essay" that describes the clips, which themselves feature a clever mix of stills, GIF-animated images and even some "surprise" pics to get you hooked into viewing the clips in their entirety.

Oh, yeah! Did I mention that each clip presented has something to offer every taste? Got a yen for certain fetishes along with your bent for hot, younger, twinkish guys? Matt's got you covered. Sex with food? Foot shots? Wrestling singlets? Cowboy gear? Naked Twister? Prom tuxes? (You HAVE to see the clips that feature the terrific threesomes, and at one point, virtually every 2SCM model in a sexy "sleepover" party, aka the "Log Cabin Weekend".) There's all that and then some here.

And not to mention "SPURT" videos, something I gather is a relatively new feature on the site. There are two of them as far as I could tell: one with the omnipresent Dean (shot himself with a hand-held camcorder), the other with Brett. And if you can't tell by the logo what's being offered in these babies...well, go watch them. And bring a towel...for yourself AND your monitor.

What do paying users recieve for their money?

Every page is a smorgasbord of hot, young, real straight guys that contain links to everything you ever want to see and know about them, delivered with a showman's sense of bombast by our fearless host, not to mention his own unique brand of humor!!! The youngest guy is eighteen, the oldest 30 (and for you ageists out there, don't get your panties in a twist: the average age is early-to-mid-twenties.) The video section is arranged from the most recent guy, (the comely Caleb from May 14th of this year), all the way back to tasty young Jack, who was a tender 21 when he was 2SCM's first featured model when the site went live on November 10th of '01.

The directory offers entry to Audition archives, when you can see each featured model's initial shoot (both the camera and spoogy kind) with our host and "Master-BAITER" Matt, then the regular clips, usually one or two solo and a couple that have the site "darlings" paired with other models. (This site could've been subtitled 'The Education of Dean,' because as you watch his clips, you can see the learning curve as he goes from tentatively adventurous gay-for-pay boytoy, doing it all in the name of BLING, to full-blown (literally) camera-hogging exhibitionist, getting into the adoration as much as the man-sex.)

Each model's individual page offers both exhausitive stills of each clip and the clips themselves, both in the Auditions and Video archives. The Newswire page gives you blog-style updates of what's cooking on the site and with the shoots, (although it hasn't been updated lately--last entry date: April 14th, '04), and the Store page offers compilations of your favorite models for purchase. (The earlier clips are only available in VHS, with more on the way transferred to DVD. Only the more recent clips are available in DVD format.)

In a nutshell: every twink of every kind is here, and there's so much to see and read about them, it will take you quite a while to get bored...unless you're just that jaded and over-stimulated by gay porn. (It took me almost the entire week to 'cover' the content, and I still haven't seen EVERYTHING yet!!!)
