Does Squirtz deliver what it promises on the outside?

Squirtz is to Montreal what Cruiser Boys is to Southern California - that is a huge collection of everyday guys willing to talk about themselves and then do a strip 'n jack for our entertainment. Squirtz boys are amateurs, although some have since advanced to professional porn careers.

The site is updated weekly. Content is archived in 15 pages of thumbnails with the model's name, age, sexual orientation, and date it was added to the site. There is no search function or other way to find a favorite model. Look for videos of twink icon Sammy Case and Pierre Fitch from early in their careers.

The preview has a few brief video samples. You can also see a few pics of every model on the site.

What's good about Squirtz? What needs improvement?

The site has undergone a recent design update giving a nice fresh look while staying within its signature palette of red backgrounds.

The format is neat and simple. The guys are seated in a chair or on a bed and answer questions from an off-camera interviewer. Being Montreal, the interviewer and many of the boys speak French or with heavy accents, which can be a huge turn-on. The age ranges from just legal to late 20s.

Videos are only offered as old school QuickTime clips - no update in technological to go along with the design update. There is no provision to save video clips to your hard drive. The oldest content streams in a rather small dial-up era viewing screen. Content added since early 2005 is available in the original size and a larger, higher resolution viewing window. There is no full screen option.

Although an amateur site, production values demonstrate some thought and professionalism. A single camera is used. Lighting is good and there are a variety of location shoots. The one area production weakness is sound. Noises inside and outside of the room and some echoes make it difficult to hear distinctly in some clips.

Photo sets compliment the videos. Like the videos, photos can't be downloaded in sets. There is a built in viewer, but no auto advance feature.

How is Squirtz unique?

While the interview, strip 'n jack format is not new, the boys and their stories are unique. Longtime readers of my reviews may recall that I enjoy knowing a little about the guys I'm watching, even if nothing is the truth.
