Does Single Gay Males deliver what it promises on the outside?

This is another of those portals that have come up in large numbers in recent years. And like many of them it promises very much and delivers somewhat less. Single Gay Males claims to offer 125,000+ photos of gay singles and couples, 50,000+ gay feeds, live gay shows, games - ezines, stories & more and 1000s of downloadable MPEG vids.

The reality is a bit more prosaic: many of those vids for example are just small parts of the same clips. I really wish webmasters would stop making all those exaggerated claims about the amount of content on their sites. It may attract people to them, but will not keep them there for long.

What's good about Single Gay Males? What needs improvement?

Single Gay Males greeted me with a pop-up, and inside is a lot of advertising too. The model on their homepage, sultry George, is very handsome though. Too bad he only shows his bum in one pic.

The first link I clicked, XXX pictures, led to almost 100 picture sets. Most are of attractive Eastern European models, solo and in action. Many are familiar faces from Lucas Kazan and Falcon International movies. Fans of blond hunk George Vidanov are in for a real treat: I have never seen a website that has so many different series of him. The galleries open in a separate window and are easy to navigate.

The links below, solo guys and hardcore, are deceptive, because both are just parts of the large gallery above. Next is a link "25,000 daily pics" which turns out to be a newsgroup listing. In most of the groups listed you will probably not have the slightest interest in like alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.female.ejaculation! Hardly worth the membership fee... But the way they provide the groups is very nifty: no wading through endless spam, you can just click the pics you want and even download many of them in a zip-file. Access is rather slow though.

The main video link, XXX videos, leads to 47 movie galleries, and again the links below are also found on the main movie page. For a change I had little trouble viewing clips on most of the different sites. Some of them, like American Jackoff, are rather annoying, having no video controls on their page so you can't see whether the downloading is going all right. It's also quite clear after a short visit that several sites belong together, so you will see parts of one and the same video on one site and other parts on another. There's some hot stuff though, like handsome and hung Shane jerking off on Boys in Briefs. His cum shots are on another site though: All that Jizz. And you will find the same model on at least three other sites too.

There also are 8 live XXX shows apparently, but the three I clicked gave me nothing but technical trouble. Next come 5 story links and then there is the extra's page, which consists of links to sites with naked ladies. I wonder how many single gay males would be interested in those...

How is Single Gay Males unique?

Portals of this nature are not unique anymore. I think a site allegedly aimed at single gay males which offers a so-called extra's page which turns out to be full of naked women is though.

What do paying users recieve for their money?

It doesn't look like this site is updated frequently: the major updates mentioned on the homepage are three months or more old! Whether the sites linked to are updated more often was not perceptible to me. I had a couple of hot nights picking out the good stuff here, and there is plenty of it, but doubt whether a membership longer than one month would be worth the money.
