Does SD Boy deliver what it promises on the outside?

SDboys is another military themed site from San Diego, California. San Diego Boy Productions has been making DVDs (they have 38 of them on AEBN.com) and this is a site for syndicated reruns from some of the older DVDs.

You can forward through the tour and watch a few sample trailers to get an idea of video quality. The DVDs shown on later pages of the tour are the basis for the video content - scenes from the DVDs are chopped into segments for viewing. Add a few galleries of vidcaps from the DVDs and a handful of common feeders and you have SDBoys.

What's good about SD Boy? What needs improvement?

I am one of the biggest military fans alive - so I know what I'm talking about. There have been many military themed makers from the San Diego area where there is an inexhaustible supply of marines ready to strip and have sex in one way or another for a few bucks. A great tried and true formula!

Marines are always cute in their naivety, so the 20-ish boys from all over urban and rural America are almost sure to please. I rate SDB on a par with Uncle Don Ross, Bobby Garcia, and Dirk Yates in the routineness of video footage. That is to say that I was continually anticipating, but constantly disappointed with the work of these producers (SDBoys included). They seem to have such a constant supply of marines that the magic of the moment was lost as they pumped the vids out one after another.

The videos could be either streamed into an embedded WMP player (which could be full-screened) at a medium-fuzzy resolution - or downloaded in a much clearer and higher resolution (WMP or MP4). The WMP downloads were more of the quality that is expected these days, but took a while to download on cable modem. I suggest adding high-res indexable streams, which in my opinion actually cut bandwidth for the user and website alike as we don't have to watch the entire sometimes tedious lead-in footage.

How is SD Boy unique?

SDBoys follows in the same footsteps as other 90's San Diego military producers like Don Ross, Bobby Garcia, and Dirk Yates. San Diego Boy Productions is in the video business and their work is widely available also on PPV sites.
