Does Playgirl deliver what it promises on the outside?
Playgirl.com is mostly geared towards straight women, offering pictures and videos of muscular naked men, some of which involve women as well. The website does deliver in that fact. They have quite a selection of solo videos, solo photos, couple videos (with women), couple photos (with women) and Playgirl magazine archives, which you can view each page of.What's good about Playgirl? What needs improvement?
The website is very easy to navigate. The videos can be viewed in low bandwith or high, and can also be downloaded or viewed on an iPhone. The pictures are all very good quality and can be viewed quite large. The magazine archives load very quickly and are available in a variety of formats - view all pages at once, or page by page, then being able to zoom completely in on each page. I quite enjoyed the magazine archives, but they don't have every issue available - just a select few. Also, the videos I streamed on low-bandwith still stopped to catch up quite a bit and I have a very fast internet speed. Also, the videos seemed to have the music playing too loud and you couldn't really hear what the actors were saying - you could just see their mouths moving. (Not that the dialogue is really that important.) One last thing that could use improvement is there are quite a few advertisements for other subscription websites all over the members area. I would prefer just a links page that I could check out if I was interested, not to be forced to see all of the adds on every page.How is Playgirl unique?
The website is unique because it's not typical gay porn. There are women having sex with the men in the couple videos, but the main focus is on the man. The solo shots are great, and all the men fit the basic model of a muscular 20-35 year old man. Not every gay man would enjoy the couple photos and videos, but there are plenty of solo photos and videos to enjoy.What do paying users recieve for their money?
Paying subscribers get unlimited access to HOURS and HOURS worth of videos and photos of hot studs stroking their meat and posing for the camera. Not all of the photos are hardcore, but they are still very nice to look at. Playgirl needs no introduction. It is one of the most recognized, women-focused adult publications in existence. As of January 2009, Playgirl has left print and gone exclusively online. The website promises naked men, erotic art, gorgeous photo sets, sexy male models, and hunk videos. Read full review

On the outside this website promises a wide selection of men to view. And in this aspect it does deliver, however as the name implies, it's tailored towards women more than gay men. Read full review

This site the Playgirl magazine site pretty much delivers on it's promises, it's Playgirl Magazine but on the web, no pages to get sticky, etc. I grew up when Playgirl magazine was the only source of naked men, yes way before the WWW existed and before many of the gay magazines existed, you only had two choices, the November issue of Playboy would occasionally have photos of male porn stars as they always did a November issue with a focus on porn and you could get a glimpse of a penis or two in that particular issue, Hustler had their couple spread, and the handy Playgirl Magazine was it back in the day. So it's rather nostalgic for me to review this site. But to tell you exactly what you get, you get centerfold photos, couples photos, solo videos, couples video, and the magazine archives. With a name like Playgirl, you expect a certain level of entertainment. While the site provides everything it promises, sadly it is mostly geared toward straight women. I had hoped that with the company scrapping their print issues and focusing solely on the site, that they would at least throw a bone to their large male audience, however that is not the case.
