Does On The Hunt deliver what it promises on the outside?

This site is linked with the hookup site, Manhunt, and promises real Manhunt members hooking up and being filmed by porn stars. It's an interesting and different concept, which should work well. But sometimes the execution isn't what it could be.

What's good about On The Hunt? What needs improvement?

The idea is a really good one: lets film real guys who are into hooking up (they're members of Manhunt, after all), and lets get porn stars to do the filming. And sometimes it works very well. This site discovered David Dakota, and there are a few other top notch guys here too. It also means that you get a great variety of guys -- different ages and types that many sites ignore.

And of course all these guys are gay, and they've all volunteered to be filmed, so the sex will be great too, right? Well, not always. It's true that there are a few outstanding scenes. But it's surprising how often things don't seem to be working out at all well. There's a high proportion of soft cocks (among the tops as well as the bottoms), and some guys seem to be having trouble coming (and one or two never manage it). Nerves may come into play, but there also seems to be a pairing-up problem: far too often the site puts two tops together, or two bottoms, and then wonders why things don't go to plan.

The porn star directors, including Matthew Rush, Jeremy Hall, and Collin O'Neal among others, also vary in quality. Matthew Rush turns out to be a very annoying director, thanks to his constant verbal encouragement. "Tell him how good his cock feels", "Tell him what a tight ass he has". SHUT UP. Does he not realise that dirty talk isn't very dirty if you've been told to say it. Jeremy Hall often ends up in the action himself, as does Felix Cohn from American Top Studios. Felix seems to be unable to resist quite a few of the guys, and clearly has his favourites. His involvement usually ends up making one of the supposed subjects of the film look like a spare part -- he really needs to decide which side of the camera he wants to be on.

Technically too there's a great variation in the quality of the films. The best ones are great, the worst are so badly lit you can hardly see what's going on. There are a number of formats offered for downloads, and different file sizes are available. Download speeds are pretty good.

One things that's missing is any kind of search function. If you find a guy you whose film you like, it's impossible to see whether he's done any other work on the site, without trawling back through the whole back catalogue. An additional complication is that many of the guys have the same names, so you when you think you've found another film with Tyler in it, it's actually someone else.

What do paying users recieve for their money?

There's a big back catalogue, which will keep you going for quite a while, and there are a couple of new films added each week, a proper scene and a bonus. There are also photos with each set. Extras are limited to a blog.
