Does Man Avenue deliver what it promises on the outside?

"ManAvenue.Com was conceived and designed in hopes of primarily capturing the everyday 'man' you will pass on your local avenue - whether shopping, at the beach, gym or grocery store, we all encounter men we would like to see naked. Our site hopes to provide a cross-section of hot guys that will get your testosterone flowing."

Unless your "local avenue" runs right next to about 14 gyms, these are not the guys you are going to run into on the street. Don't get me wrong, they are hot, but if what they are going for is the "everyday man", then I think they missed the mark. Most of the guys are what I would consider to be very muscular. There are a few that lean towards the twinkish side of things, but not many. However you view the men, there are plenty of videos and pictures inside for you to enjoy.

What's good about Man Avenue? What needs improvement?

The layout of this site is pretty straightforward, and is easy to navigate. Each update is divided into an episode description, a photo gallery with a few photos, and a section of video clips. The one problem I had with the layout was that the icons for each update were very hard to read. The print is tiny, as are the pictures. Bumping those up a font size of two would help greatly. Also, the site seemed to have trouble doing more than one thing at a time. If I was streaming a video, or downloading a file, I could not look at anything else on the site until it was finished.

The videos and photos are of good quality. The content is mostly solo and duo videos, nothing out of the ordinary. The videos are available for streaming, or for download. The streaming is relatively quick, but you cannot navigate in the clip until the entire file is buffered. The downloads are available in WMV, or iPod formats. Some of the videos have the full episode available in one file, but the older updates still have tiny pieces of the video, and no option to download the entire file. It would be nice for the webmaster to go back and rectify that situation. The photos are taken during the video shoot, and there are not many of them. They display in a popup window, and are available for download if you so desire.

How is Man Avenue unique?

While some of the content on this site is new and fresh, some of it I have seen on other sites. I get the impression that it may have been on this site first, but I have no way of proving that. The content itself is run of the mill, nothing terribly unique about it.
