Does Lucas Kazan deliver what it promises on the outside?

LucasKazan.com advertises itself as having "exclusive Euro muscle studs, Italian men and high-quality original videos." This is certainly true. All the models look as though they spend at least five days a week at the gym, enjoy their protein shakes and avoid carbs as much as possible. The preponderance of foreskins attests to the models' European provenance (as do the halting subtitles that appear in the videos). The videos featured are exclusively from Lucas Kazan studios, producers of "Italians & Other Strangers," "Across the Ocean," and "Hotel Italia" and offer familiar names like Ettori Tosi, Wilfried Knight, Roberto Giorgio and Lucas Foz. However, these names are familiar because they are not, in fact, exclusive to Lucas Kazan, so perhaps the "exclusive" refers to the Euro aspect. But since some of the models are from South America and even the US, that isn't the case, either. Whatever. They are still all beautiful. However, while the site promises that content is updated weekly, it occurred only in the photo section and not in video content.

What's good about Lucas Kazan? What needs improvement?

The site is easy to move around in and fairly straightforward. Section headers are clear and color coded. Almost all clips are embedded and very little is download-able, but the viewing quality is high. Any clip you open will feature a sidebar listing the performers along with links to their profiles. As far as the models go, there is a nice mix of both furry and smooth men, and the occasional silver fox or shaved scalp contrasts with those boasting a boyish shock of hair. Mostly European men are featured along with Latino men from Brazil and the like, but no Black or Asian men are featured. One frustrating aspect of the site is that not all scenes from videos are available for members. A movie may have five scenes but only two of them will be available. This may change periodically, but it did not during the entire week+ time I had access to the site.

The site is a perfect illustration of the expression "if this is the sort of thing you like, then you'll like this sort of thing." While the videos boast high production values, the directors tend to view themselves as artistes (with the pretentious extra "e") rather than guys hired to make fuck flicks. The background music is often operatic in style. The performances and story lines are frequently melodramatic, with stretches featuring the models wandering around the landscapes looking wistfully at mountains or the ocean, while breathy voice-overs narrate their trials and tribulations. At the same time the sex scenes, regardless of setting, can be formulaic. You can pretty much predict what is going to happen by who blows who first, and there is little variation in positions and the like once the action gets going. Also, (if I can be petty for a moment) if you call a film "L'Elisir D'Amore" but then provide background music from "Pagliacci" it's going to be noticed. Hello? We ARE gay men.

How is Lucas Kazan unique?

Since you can access Lucas Kazan videos at other pay per view sites, the main content is not unique. However, if behind the scenes features make you happy, there are a preponderance of "the making of" and "interview" clips from the films and featuring many of the models. Also, the "Ettori Tosi's Private Sex Files" feature is unique to the site. I've come across one or two of these clips elsewhere, but here is the comprehensive collection. Another interesting feature is that viewers can rate the various video clips, so you can see what others think before you take the time to view a clip. Of course tastes vary and some of the higher rated clips didn't always, um, resonate with me as much as others.
