Does Lucas Entertainment deliver what it promises on the outside?

Michael Lucas has built his reputation to such an extent that his website doesn't need to make extravagant claims. Lucas Entertainment contains the Lucas back catalogue, so you know it's going to deliver.

What's good about Lucas Entertainment? What needs improvement?

There's plenty of content here, and it's good stuff. In addition to the back catelogue of videos, there are auditions, so-called encounters (which appear to be scenes that don't quite fit anywhere else), and galleries of photos.

Almost all the videos are available to steam in either Quicktime or Windows Media formats, and there's no hanging about: they start playing pretty quickly. The quality is pretty good too, although the older productions aren't up to the quality of the newer ones. Three annoyances: you can't download the videos; you have to enter your user name and password each time; Lucas Entertainment is plastered across the screen in large letters.

The cross referencing system is excellent. Each scene had a description showing who's in it, and which categories it falls in. Click on the links, and you can find all the scenes your favourite guy is in, or all scenes featuring twinks etc.

The content itself is excellent. Michael Lucas produces some of his videos in the US, some in eastern Europe, so there's something here for everyone. The men are largely great, and there's plenty of top notch action. If I have a criticism, it's that too long is spent on the close-ups, and there's not enough big picture.

What do paying users recieve for their money?

There are dozens of videos, each with several scenes, plus all the auditions and extra action films. With the photos as an extra, it would take you a long time to see it all.

Of course at the end of the day, the site is intended to act as a big advert for the videos, so there's an online shop too.
