Does Lavender Lounge deliver what it promises on the outside?
The site promises exclusive photos, vintage muscle galleries, and volumes of hosted galleries. All of the material listed is available.
What's good about Lavender Lounge? What needs improvement?
The site really acts as a portal site with links to many existing sites requiring additional membership. For a novice web surfer, this is a great tool (sorry). The frustration for me was that the parts of the site I was interested in only offered 59 second videos, requiring additional fees to see more. It's really like a teaser for other sites. Linking to some of the other sites can cause an avalanche of pop up windows which only adds to the frustration.
How is Lavender Lounge unique?
There are several options which include original photo galleries and interviews. Some of the interview videos are so dark as to render them useless for anything other than the audio. However, the classic vintage muscle galleries are the best collection of 50's, 60's and 70's shots I have seen anywhere.
What do paying users recieve for their money?
Numerous free pic galleries along with preview access to multiple hosted galleries by Falcon, NakedSword, MaleFLixxxtv, etc. There are some videos arranged in categories, but they are short clips only.

This site features a very large amount of photos, videos and movie clips. Many are "Vintage" from the 50s, 60s and 70s, and many of these are in black and white. The earlier photos are rarely total nudes. Most of these are muscles and strong men, no twinks here. Most of the photos are quite good but some are poorly filmed with bad lighting causing almost a wash-out sometimes. There is a Live Sex Connection available offering Flirt 4 Free, Castle Boys and Gay Cam. Castle Boys are photos from Amsterdam and Toronto and have 1000s of photos of various models available. These seem to be of a much later vintage and are very good.Gay Cam is an Amatuer Site with photos of models in their homes. A schedule is shown when the models will be available. Naked Sword Gallery has video clips from various movies. Falcon Studio offers a sneak preview of upcoming videos. The Gay Video Cafe is galleries of twinks,muscles, Latins, hardcore and military, with multiple galleries of each and videos as well as stills.All Australian is models from "down under". Bad Puppy has four models with photos of each. Additional models and photos require a Badpuppy membership. Dirty Pictures offers 18 models, with six or more pages of photos for each model and all ending with a jack-off. Groovy Guys is four pages of 50s and 60s models, all muscles and strongmen.
