Does HM Boys deliver what it promises on the outside?

HM Boys specializes in twinky next door types from Europe, the Americas and Australia with a few Middle Eastern and Asian boys for spice. You don't need a membership to see 6 selected photos from every set on the site. Clicking these samples opens a very generous high resolution image. Each set has a few stats and some paragraphs about the scene. Video previews are limited to 6 smallish screen shots. Most of the content has a star rating from members.

The site is attractively and intuitively laid out with tabs across the top of the home page linking to the content. Photo sets and videos have separate tabs. Tabs also link to some erotic fiction, cartoons, reviews of competing sites, live webcam links and CitiBoyz streaming video.

What's good about HM Boys? What needs improvement?

Photo sets make up the majority of content and are the definite strength here. Clicking the pictures tab on the home page opens a page of large thumbnails. Clicking a thumbnail opens a description page with links to view or download the set. Clicking the view option opens the first page of thumbnails. Clicking a thumbnail here opens a high resolution downloadable picture with a convenient slide show option. One minor quibble - there is no provision to adjust the slide show speed, which is about 10 seconds per slide.

The video technology on the site is somewhat dated. Videos are posted as clips in RealPlayer format. Each clip can be streamed or downloaded. There is no provision to download the video as a whole movie. The native viewing window is small and the resolution is too low for full screen viewing for all but the newest content.

Note that video clips are posted over several updates and not necessarily in contiguous order. Downloading the files shows that the file names usually include numbering that is in proper sequence. I'm not sure if posting out of sequence is by plan or carelessness on the part of the webmaster. Bandwidth also seems to be tightly controlled. It took several logons to download all of the clips in a set.

HM Boys content is from several sources. Production values are generally good quality amateur. Some photo sets are too large and could use some editing while a few others are skimpy.

There are several options for the number of thumbnails displayed on HM Boys pages. This is a nice touch, especially for users with large screen monitors.

A handy Boy Finder feature lets you find content by model name, or a combination of hair color, ethnicity, and circumcision status.

How is HM Boys unique?

There is nothing here that can't be found elsewhere. What is here is attractively presented.

What do paying users recieve for their money?

If your preference is for downloadable photo sets, HM Boys is a good option and the one payment annual membership fee is a bargain. There are a few reciprocal links that add value. For me, the video technology is too outdated to give the site the highest rating.
