Does Freshman X deliver what it promises on the outside?

FreshmanX is a new site from the creators of BoyFun, one of the biggest twinkie sites around. FreshmanX features college aged guys and you can take the most excellent tour and watch a sample video of each of the models to decide if you like what's being offered. What's similar to BoyFun is that it's assembled from various producers, some American and some Euro.

The site is adding content 2-3x weekly and with any other site I would be skeptical if the rate of additions could be maintained - but BoyFun has been adding content at this rate for years, so I'd say it was a safe bet that you'll get many updates in a month's time. I think this site has great potential as it matures. It would be roughly on par with RandyBlue.

What's good about Freshman X? What needs improvement?

FreshmanX streams its videos with FlashPlayer, then offers a high-res download in WMP. The FlashPlayer vids were indexed, so you can start skipping around in the vid immediately which is a great bonus for the time constrained or those with ADD.

The photo galleries are available in three resolutions (from big to ridiculously big) and although they appear in a javascripted window, are still savable to your HD. There is also a slide show format which worked reliably well when I tried it.

As said before, the vids come from various producers - so there is an un-uniformity to the quality of the camerawork. The big caveat here is that the BoyFun producers have a reputation of bombarding you with content, so that it won't matter too much if you don't like today's selection. Just go on to the next. There should be gobs of content as time goes on.
