Does English Lads deliver what it promises on the outside?

When I think of merry ol' England and the hot boys I've seen there in my travels, I wonder where the casting director was standing when he sought out the models that are featured on the English Lads website--he certainly wasn't looking around the places I was!

While the English Lads website is as fancy and glitzy as any other high-end gay porn websites out there, and has a very large stable of models who stroke, fuck, suck, and pose for the camera, the attractiveness of their crew (or lack thereof) makes a potentially great website into just a mediocre one in my opinion.

What's good about English Lads? What needs improvement?

Most of the models featured on this site are 18 to 26, most of them sport some sort of tattoo or multiple tattoos (a turn-off for me in most cases--they're just too distracting), are "edgy," having a lot of four-day beard growth, piercings and the like, and just aren't all that attractive.

Even though they don't, by and large, tickle my personal fancies, I can say that the models on English Lads do provide a great show. The video comes in either a small size or full resolution, streaming or by download, and there are two options--a shorter, "highlights" version of the video, and the full video itself. This is a great way to handle video, allowing the viewer to decide if they want it all or just part that features the important "money shot." Furthermore the download option works in all platforms (IE, FireFox, etc.), so there's no issue with "Save Target As" problems I've had in the past with other sites, where IE must be used to download the video easily.

Photos also come in two sizes--small and large. The large photos are the equal of most other premium porn websites' offerings, and the composition and resolution on them are very good. They offer ZIP downloads for the entire photo set BUT have the annoying (and honestly, stupid) requirement that you be a member of the site for 120 DAYS before you can exercise this ZIP download option... that's just plain stupid. If you pay for access, they should grant you access to all features.

Most of the guys are Caucasian, with an occasional "mixed breed" guy tossed in the mix. Some are slim, skater types, but most are average of build, and there are a good number of body-builder types in their mix as well.

How is English Lads unique?

The number of different models available in photo sets and video are truly gigantic, and possibly the most diverse I've seen of any other major site I've visited... it would be even better if most of the models were good looking, but they aren't. So if you like your guys 18 to 26, edgy, tattooed, pierced and/or a bit on the "unique" side for looks, you'll really enjoy English Lads.

Searching for models is easy, and they have three simple tools to do so... you can sort by age of model, A-Z alphabetically, by general sexual orientation (gay, str8, bi, etc.), and most recent postings... a good and useful feature.
