Does Dog Gone Video deliver what it promises on the outside?
I will start by saying I have no explanation for the title. This is a Pay-Per-View site with a countless suopply of every type of movie available for your viewing pleasure. There is no membership charge, just your time purchased for viewing. The site delivers to a point - I will explain later.
What's good about Dog Gone Video? What needs improvement?
When you enter the site you must select your viewing preference - Straight Theater or Gay Theater. You select your viewing choices either by catagory, star or studio. Your only expense is the time you purchase. I am very familar with PPV sites and the content of this site is very similar except you might find some selections not found elsewhere. Now, for the problem!! The main feature of this site is the viewing of the movies offered. This brings us to a major problem - the videos are hardly up to par compared with other sites. I do have a dial-up connection but have never encountered such a problem. The whole site is quite easily navagated but the videos take a lifetime to full download. They start quite fast but they play at a start-stop speed, very jumpy, the audio is a good sound but the dialogue can not be understood because of the jumpy delivery. Also, you must start playing the video at the beginning - you cannot select a scene like is offered on other sites. You select a scene after the beginning, either scene 1, 2, 3 etc. You really do not know what the scene might be. Two different selections I made started playing quite rapidly but it took over 10 minutes to progress beyond the opening credits. This is 10 minutes you paid for! To view an entire movie would take considerable time and with the jumping around, you wouldn't know what you had seen anyway. In my opinion, on a PPV site, the video presentation is the heart of the site, the reason for using it at all. For this reason, I feel this situation should be corrected as soon as possible.
How is Dog Gone Video unique?
The content is not unique - it is very similar to what's found elsewhere. However, I did see a lot of movies that I had never seen before so I hope they get the video problem solved.
What do paying users recieve for their money?
On a normnal PPV site, the purchaser receives a good video offering of his selection. A video that can be watched like a normal movies. Too bad this will not happen here.

I have to admit that I'm a fan of big value and Dog Gone Video provides a collection of content that rivals just about any out there. It's not your typical thematic gay porn site in that there really isnt' a specific focus to the videos (well, unless you count just plain HOT as a theme). Instead, Dog Done Video is like having an online video rental store at your fingertips. The basic plan is that as a member, you can buy packages of minutes that you then use to stream scenes from your favorite videos, and when I say favorite, I mean just about every one in their massive collection. Unlike most other porn sites, Dog Gone Video offers only streaming video to the subscriber. There are no photo sets, no ability to download video clips for later enjoyment--rather it's like a Blockbuster for the web. Read full review

"Superior Quality PPV" is the promise, and as Pay Per View sites go, this one isn't bad. It's run by BadPuppy, one of the names which has been around for years, so it ought to be good. Read full review
