Does Dixter deliver what it promises on the outside?

Dixter.com is a relatively new site on the net and promises to bring us ‘hot amateur men’ at this, it certainly delivers, but not as often as I would like, updates sadly let this site down. There is a full and open preview so you do know what you are getting before joining but they are less forthcoming about how often they update the site.

What's good about Dixter? What needs improvement?

The site layout and design is first class, as a quality amateur site should be. I liked the colors and preview pictures on the site, and the navigation is as simple as it gets. At the time of this review Dixter.com offered only 40 video and photosets and their update schedule is very few and far between, if you are going to set your stall up on the same side of the street as Sean Cody or Chaosmen you had better make sure what you are selling is better than the competition, and this is just not the case with Dixter.com.

The quality of the videos is average and the latest offering are a little better but doesn’t even come close to matching the standard we expect from a paysite. The videos were also a little short in length, 10 minutes on average for a solo video and 20 minutes for an action video. The majority of the sites content was solo videos with a handful of action videos. The production values and content of the videos is pretty much the same formula as all the other amateur sites use. The videos were very quick to download on my computer and this site does not use DRM, another bonus. My only complaint about the videos is the music they use on the introduction logo, it is the most annoying thing I have heard in a long time.

The models Dixter.com uses are mainly mid to late twenties and are all exclusive to the site, they are all good looking men but none had the ‘wow’ factor, in my personal opinion.

How is Dixter unique?

As I stated in the previous paragraph Dixter.com has some stiff competition (pardon the pun!) and I cannot see any unique selling point that sets this site apart.

What do paying users recieve for their money?

We are more than spoiled for choice when it comes to amateur gay porn and I cannot think of single reason why someone would want to switch their membership from one of Gaygeek’s top ten sites. I know Dixter.com is one of the new kids on the block but the quality and update schedule is not even close to matching their rivals, for those reasons I cannot recommend this site, you will get far better value for money with one of the more established amateur sites.
