Does Dixter deliver what it promises on the outside?
Dixter.com is a fairly obscure new site out of Toronto featuring in their words: "amateur, fresh ... guy next door types ... 18 to 30 years old". This is a tried and true theme akin to SeanCody, NextDoorStudios, ChaosMen and others. The competition is fierce in the str8boy JO fetish - so there is a quality standard to live up to.

What's good about Dixter? What needs improvement?
What's good about Dixter is that the selection of guys is right up my alley - 18 to 30 with a natural glazing of body hair. Also, in just the latest update the site has moved to a higher video resolution - so that's on the right track.
What needs improvement is the camera work and editing. The guys were smokin' (but a little staged), and the cameraman pretty much just sat there. We want the camera pushing, prodding, and in the model's face like we were sitting right next to him and not parked six feet away like we were visiting in the hospital (especially for the grand finale - if you know what I mean..) There was also a tendency to let the scenes go too long without an "angle break". May I suggest visiting SeanCody or Latinboyz for a class on close-up camera work and editing.
The site also has less than 50 videos to offer up, being new. There also seems to be a strong lack of advertising to bring in the subscribers and let the site grow. I googled "Dixter.com" and only came up with two pitiful pages.
How is Dixter unique?
Dixter is one of my "85% sites" - meaning that it has great POTENTIAL for growth as a str8boy adoration site, but it is not currently living up to its full potential.
Dixter features more than a few of the models who admit to being gay bar strippers - which diminishes the amateur theme of the site.
What do paying users recieve for their money?
For $25.95 monthly, non-recurring you'll get:
44 videos (you can see them on the tour page), all in a "just OK" res. WMP format. The latest update boosted this to more of an HD format. The accompanying photo galleries looked to be vidcaps, so the videos are the site's primary product.
There is no update audit trail, so I can't be sure how many new vids are added in a month of membership.

Dixter.com is a relatively new site on the net and promises to bring us ‘hot amateur men’ at this, it certainly delivers, but not as often as I would like, updates sadly let this site down. There is a full and open preview so you do know what you are getting before joining but they are less forthcoming about how often they update the site. Read full review

This site promises some of the hottest amateur guys in solo and hardcore action. And by and large it delivers. These are real men, not twinks, and many of them are very good looking. However, there's far more solo than action. Read full review
