Does Dirty Boy Video deliver what it promises on the outside?
Dirty Boy Video is a well-established site from NYC which caters to the "badboy" or str8 trade niche. They also produce Dick Show, which has become a feeder feature on many other sites.
DBV gained fame years back with its videos of NYC subway station or fire-escape jerkoffs, and str8boy dollfucks. You can take the tour to see what I mean. This is a site that is rough around the edges in more ways than one.
What's good about Dirty Boy Video? What needs improvement?
DBV has been around a long time and was infamous for its poor quality, fuzzy, and overly-segmented QT videos. There has been some improvement made to bring the quality up to broadband standards - but the migration from segmented, grainy QT to full-length FlashPlayer still doesn't quite cut it in my book. This site has the potential to be great, but the contents are delivered in a cheap and "feeder quality" manner. The navigation could also use a total overhaul.
For starters, DickShow now only plays unsegmented in FlashPlayer; is no longer downloadable; is only available for the last four months worth of weekly updates. FYI: there are years worth of episodes which are no longer available since DickShow became a feeder site and closed off the archives. Note that DickShow represents about 1/3 of the content of DirtyBoyVideo, so if you are "current on DickShow" as a feeder from another site - it reduces the amount that will be unique to you.
The DirtyBoyVideo content (not Dick Show) now also plays in FlashPlayer, but at least can be downloaded as a QT movie (I would like to see WMP streams). The quality has improved dramatically from the unwatchable blur that it was formerly, but only for the most currently released content. No effort is made to bring the older content up to par and several pages in, you are back to the old 20-segment QT blur-vids.
The theme of the site is an unfilled niche market in my opinion and has GREAT potential - if only the site owners would treat the method of delivery and camera work with greater care. Many of the badboys are red hot, put on an amazing acting performance - but the vids are low quality or can't be downloaded. Please DBV: go visit SeanCody or Chaosmen and see how to film and deliver your content like it came from Tiffanys and not the Dollar Store. The badboy/str8 trade theme is very hot, very much in demand, and in high contrast to the beachboy themed sites out there.
How is Dirty Boy Video unique?
DBV stands alone as a portal for urban badboys and straight trade types. This is a very unique and marketable niche with a poor delivery mechanism.

You'd have thought that a site called Dirty Boy Video would be all about the video. But work your way through the list of updates, and about half are actually photo sets (and some the videos which pop up are on affiliate sites). It does deliver on the boys, though. They're mostly youngish, roughish guys, many of them not particularly good looking. Read full review
