Does Dirk Yates Live deliver what it promises on the outside?

"Often imitated... but never duplicated." That's what Dirk Yates exclaims on his homepage. And to a certain extent that is perfectly true. In a career of more than twenty years he has had hundreds of straight military men jerking off in front of his camera. That means his site offers a large quantity of buff guys, most in solo scenes but some one-on-one and even some bisexual too. There are photo galleries and video clips and if you opt for the full membership you can also watch live shows and a different film from the Dirk Yates Private Collection every day.

What's good about Dirk Yates Live? What needs improvement?

Most of the models are exclusive to Dirk's site. I don't know whether all of them really are military guys, but many obviously are, because a few years ago there was a big scandal about soldiers "making gay porn" and that was all about Dirk Yates. Many of the guys are handsome and all are well built.

There's plenty of room for improvement: I found the site rather difficult to navigate, especially the section that consists of a list of some 200 videos. That list doesn't indicate whether there are (short) clips or just pics available of the film in question. Also this site lacks a good model index, although with the number of models Dirk has filmed through the years making one would be quite a job.

The pictures are relatively small and the live show clips play in a separate window where I couldn't hear any sound and couldn't forward or pause them. I think putting them on the site in the same format as the video clips would be an improvement.

How is Dirk Yates Live unique?

There are many handsome models in hot scenes, like hunky Bryce London jerking off while watching a straight video, playing with his ass. Sadly his photo shoot appears to be missing, but his clips are hot enough.

There are many other sites concentrating on muscular military men, but they obviously don't have the number of different, exclusive models that Mr. Yates has collected through the years. And continues to collect because according to him "there are more servicemen concentrated on the streets of San Diego than in any other city in the world."

What do paying users recieve for their money?

If you go for the full membership, which is pretty expensive, you get all mentioned above. There's also a cheaper version, but that doesn't give access to the Live Shows & Daily DYPC Replays. And since most of the updates are only pictures of those live shows and one DYPC film per week, my advice would be to get a seven day trial and then decide whether you would want to continue it with a full membership.
