Does Club Lads deliver what it promises on the outside?

On the outside this site promises the Best of British Boys, and they certainly offer some hot, apparently exclusive, models: Danny Delight is a really stunning lad and Brett, billed as a lively London lad, is a blond beaut if ever there was one.

It also promises some things it doesn't deliver though, like "high quality sexy videoclips." The person who thought up that particular sales pitch should be ashamed of himself. In reality what I saw of them was seriously below par: they take forever to download, and once you get them you end up with silent (!) clips of a rather awful technical quality. I think the average amateur can make better videos than this paysite, provided he has the same hot models of course.

What's good about Club Lads? What needs improvement?

ClubLads has some points that make it really stand out among paysites. Their models are all twinks but of all colors you can think of, very refreshing. They mostly provide solo picture sets: the main part of the site, Club Twinks, has 12 pages with 25 models each. Some of the sets come from BoyFun and comparable sites and are billed as "guest models." They should ask some of their guests to introduce themselves though: Bel Ami star Mark Vidal appears here as "Mystery Man".

Many sets appear in more than one subsection of the website though, and the number of action sets is limited to about 50. Those include some very hot ones, like a coupling of two longhaired cuties, Piet and Coyote.

Apart from the appalling quality of their videos ClubLads could improve a few other things too. What I find lacking is internal links, it would be nice to see on the thumbnail page of a model whether there are other picture sets or video clips of him available. The site is also pretty slow by today's standard. Downloading one set of 85 pictures took me almost 20 minutes one night.

How is Club Lads unique?

It certainly is unique in its variety, not only of models but also of action. You can even find a number of spanking picture sets here. But offering silent clips is pretty unique too nowadays...

What do paying users recieve for their money?

For what the site offers I find it a bit expensive. It is updated regularly enough though: in the three weeks before I reviewed this site there were 10 major updates, varying from an exclusive Calendar for 2006 to video clips of two cute models.

As long as you are interested in pictures of strapping young British lads you will have a good time at ClubLads. If you're primarily interested in video you should take your money elsewhere.
