Does Bare Twinks deliver what it promises on the outside?

The entry page of Bare Twinks has a roadside motel theme. "Bare Twinks" is the hotel name, and "No Condoms" fills the "No Vacancy" sign with "Condoms" highlighted. These signs are set against an inland sunset along "Route 69". One of two hot, shirtless twinks appear to jump out of an old photograph next to the legalese. "Members", "Exit", and "Enter" are the only links.

So what does all this promise? Not much, really. It hints at a Midwestern theme. Not too appealing, but its simplicity is promising. The best sites are the ones that don't try too hard. Before we click on the "Members" link, we can hope that this will be one of those great sites which spend most of their time and energy on the models and the action, not on a flashy theme that cannot be sustained.

The home page proves what I had hoped: The site is simple in design and doesn't try too hard. The first page is a "What's New" page. The "Videos" tab at the top takes you to the long list of videos.
Despite not promising much on the outside, Bare Twinks definitely delivers on the inside.

What's good about Bare Twinks? What needs improvement?

Simplicity of design, intuitive layout. The quality of the videos is excellent at high definition. At lower definitions, they are still pretty good. Although this is a video site, each video has a "Photos" section consisting of screen shots of average quality. So if you're not into videos, check out the photos. The models are outstanding. Most fit into the 18 to 21 age range; many of them are knock-out cute (although the best ones have destroyed their bodies with tattoos). Most of the videos begin with a little bit of dialogue, so you get to hear the voices of these hot twinks. I always enjoy hearing the voices. But don't expect much dialogue; the action usually begins within one minute.

There's not much to improve here. But I noticed that the site has some definite buffering issues. It was so bad that I ended up hitting "Pause" and then waiting five to ten minutes before the video was completely buffered. It didn't seem to matter which Flash setting I used.

How is Bare Twinks unique?

There is nothing unique about this site. It fits solidly into the twink genre. Bare Twinks is simply another excellent site you can safely add to your subscription list. It gives you yet another option to choose from. There's some light bondage, but it's clumsy and inexperienced.
