Does Amateur Straight Guys deliver what it promises on the outside?

This site delivers on all of it's promises.

There are hundreds of hours of video archives and during my test period the site was updated three times in three days. The web cam shows were available. The one show that I saw was with two young performers. The chat room conversation indicated that a previous performer had been a no show earlier in the week, so an archive show was run in it's place.

What's good about Amateur Straight Guys? What needs improvement?

If you like to watch straight young men, this site will get your blood going.

While most of the video action is solo masturbation, Doug and Jay are often involved and gently urge the young performers into more action than they may have expected. There are a number of pairings, and these are generally good. Some of the guys have done a number of videos for the site and they tend to be more active with their partners.

The type of guys varies, but most of the guys seem to be of a street variety. By this, I mean they sport many, many tattoos. These are all straight guys from 20-28 or so. While all have their charms, I prefer a little more muscle. There are a number of very cute, well built guys, but the predominate body type ranges from thin to swimmer's build.

Depending on whether it is an audition video, or an arranged coupling, the guys can be a little uptight at first, but gradually loosen up. This is part of the charm of watching amateur straight guys having sex. They are not pros, and the action captured is REAL. There's something very sexy about seeing a couple of straight guys beside another guy for the first time, and watching them get excited, and every now and then, one will sneak a look at the other guys equipment. Often, eventually one will start to stroke the other. Then, all of a sudden, one starts to go down on the other. After a while, the guys don't seem to remember that there's a camera documenting their experimentation. It's pretty hot.

The video images are generally good although some of the older, earlier videos are a little more commando in quality, as one would expect.

The sound is the big problem for me. The sound is all live, as it happened, as that's a great concept to me. There is no soundtrack music, unless it is playing live in the background (the guys are often watching straight porn).
But...

I sure don't want to offend anyone, or even appear to make fun, but the sound resembles what I call a "Daffy Duck" sound. On all of the preview videos, the site owners make an appearance to promote membership purchase, and both seem to have speech impediments, making them sound a little like Daffy Duck. As I said, I am not a person to make fun of someone else's problems.

But almost EVERY guy on the site sounds like this. I can only imagine that either the microphones need improving, or there needs to be a disclaimer in a BIO section that announces that this site uses only participating members of the linguistics restoration society. I dunno, it made me a little uncomfortable. I kept thinking more about their speech therapy than their spear therapy.

How is Amateur Straight Guys unique?

Other than the above reference regarding sound, this site doesn't really explore new territory. There are other sites that feature straight guys for gay consumption. Hey they're even doing it on network television.

But the producers do seem to get the guys to reveal more about their personalities than many other sites, and the interaction of the guys is more lively and fun than some other sites.

What do paying users recieve for their money?

Membership includes access to a huge archive of videos, pictures and stories, as well as web cam performances five time a week. The videos are available in three formats, Real, Quick Time, and Media Player. There are feeds for both dial up and Broadband. The video quality is very good if somewhat "industrial" in look. And there are sexy guys of all body types to suit every taste.

The site is updated at least three times per week.
