Does Alex Dark deliver what it promises on the outside?

What does this site offer from the outside? Well, not much. Just a photograph with a handsome, sharp-chinned, blue-eyed young man in a white t-shirt. His name is Alex Dark. And he says "My Sex Life for your Enjoyment!"

What could be more exciting than a window into someone else's sex life? It's a common theme in porn sites: A website centered around one person who is so hot, so active, so social, and so horny, that we are led to believe that his sex life can sustain it. But the reality is that it's just a model that some porn producer thinks he can make a few bucks off of ("We're gonna make you a star, kid!). Or just as likely, it's a young, wealthy entrepreneur who's so self-centered and egotistical, that he thinks the entire world is waiting to see him fuck and suck any guy he can afford (an example is KimPrivate, "Kim" being an average-looking model-turned-producer whose best contribution to the industry is a large catalog of twinks who are hotter than he is).

By itself, the typical personality around which one of these sites is focused, cannot sustain much momentum. It's not long before the ideas run out and the photosets or videos begin to look and feel alike. It doesn't help that these guys are rarely that interesting to begin with.

So the personality site brings out its ace-up-the-sleeve: The gallery of the personality's friends. KimPrivate calls them "pals". AlexDark calls them "My Hot Friends". This is the section that can make or fail a site like this. This is where the action is. Sometimes it is the site's namesake in hot action with a friend, or just a friend in his own session. KimPrivate and Mike18 (Mike28?) are successful because of this section.

Unfortunately, AlexDark doesn't seem to have many friends. He only has three, none of which are as good-looking as Alex. In fact, one of them only has nine images in his "gallery". So this site is wasting its most precious section. Moving on to Alex's gallery, we have more content here. But still, not much. Twenty-five or so photo galleries and video clips. Some of them are nudes, some are not. Some give us a window into his daily life, some don't. There are only three clips of Alex having sex with someone.

And so, the promise of "My Sex Life for you Enjoyment", is not a promise kept.

What's good about Alex Dark? What needs improvement?

Alex himself is fairly attractive. I have no problems with him. He's at the upper end of the twink age range, but that's okay. The meager content is all good content. The photography is competent, and so is the videography (wmv). Alex seems to be a cheerful guy, so unlike the common "twink with attitude" look we sometimes get these days.

The site's appearance is adequate; nothing fancy here. Navigation is easy, mostly because of the lack of anywhere to go. I don't know how often the site is updated. However, it appears to me that there have been no recent updates, perhaps for over a year.

The only thing that needs improvement is the amount of content. I suggest he find more than three friends. But I shouldn't give advice: I live alone and have zero friends.

How is Alex Dark unique?

I find nothing unique about this website. It is a conventional personality-based porn site.
