Does AEBN deliver what it promises on the outside?
Porn DVD sales – both gay and straight – continue to decline. Blu-ray isn't giving the industry the boost it needs and Mom and Pop videos stores with a backroom have largely vanished. In the not too distant future the only DVD porn purveyors left standing in the melee may be sites like AEBN (Adult Entertainment Broadcast Network).The good news is that AEBN leads the way in online theaters. It is easy to use and cheaper than buying a DVD hard copy. At around 10 cents per minute, AEBN is competitively priced with other online streaming services, but its library includes some of the major studios like Falcon, Bel Ami and Titan. For collectors, it is also possible to burn some titles to DVD. The burned copies play just like DVDs sold elsewhere, including having menus and chapters selection options.

There is something here for everyone, gay, straight or bi. To make it easier to browse, the site is segmented by sexual preference.Picture quality can be DVD quality or less depending on the original source. Some of the works from amateur producers in the catalog are just OK in picture quality.
How is AEBN unique?
AEBN has continued to evolve as broadband capacity increases. Not every online theater is as well equipped.What do paying users recieve for their money?
AEBN will not satisfy hard core collectors who want the disc, the art on the case, the ease of watching favorites over and over, and the the option to watch on something larger than a computer monitor. Although technically possible, not too many of us bother to connect our computer to our HDTVs. And the major studios will continue to keep the latest and greatest titles on their own site for a time before listing on AEBN. Unlike many other gay porn sites, AEBN is more like a true theater (for those of you old enough, perhaps you remember these seedy, dark places where porn would play non-stop 24/7, and all patrons sat in the dark, with at least 10 seats buffer zone around yourself so you could "take care of business" with Mr. Hand... but I digress...) AEBN claims to be the number one adult theatre, and I can well believe it. There's a mass of video content, and numerous ways of watching it: pay per minute, renting whole films, downloading, and burning to DVD. There's enough here to keep you busy for a long time, although your bank balance might suffer. Read full review

This website touts itself as the "#1 Adult Video on Demand Theater In the World." I'm not sure if anyone actually compiles lists of these things, but AEBN does seem to be ahead of the pack. The offerings are current, and representative of a wide range of tastes and studios. Read full review
