Does AEBN deliver what it promises on the outside?
AEBN claims to be the number one adult theatre, and I can well believe it. There's a mass of video content, and numerous ways of watching it: pay per minute, renting whole films, downloading, and burning to DVD. There's enough here to keep you busy for a long time, although your bank balance might suffer.What's good about AEBN? What needs improvement?
Although there's a lot of material here, it's easy to find your way around. You can search by studio, star, and theme, and there are constant suggestions about what you might like. One downside of this is that the cast list for some scenes isn't very accurate.The streaming works pretty well most of the time, except that at peak times when the internet is busy there can be quite a bit of stopping and starting. And because there's no option of watching in slightly lower quality, you just have to put up with it, or come back later.
The big plus of this site has to be the sheer amount of content. There must be thousands of videos available, and you'd never have the time (or stamina) to see them all.
How is AEBN unique?
It's huge. I can't think of another site that has this many videos, from this many studios.What do paying users recieve for their money?
Money is the big question with this site. At first glance, the costs for pay per minute look quite modest. But compare it with a month's membership of a top ranking porn site, and it doesn't look quite so good. You can get about 300 minutes of viewing time for the same price as a month's subscription to, say Sean Cody or Corbin Fisher. And while you get lots of variety here, once the time's gone, it's gone. You've got nothing to show for it. And it's amazing how quickly the time goes. When it comes to buying, you're talking about $40 to download a whole video to own. Unlike many other gay porn sites, AEBN is more like a true theater (for those of you old enough, perhaps you remember these seedy, dark places where porn would play non-stop 24/7, and all patrons sat in the dark, with at least 10 seats buffer zone around yourself so you could "take care of business" with Mr. Hand... but I digress...) This website touts itself as the "#1 Adult Video on Demand Theater In the World." I'm not sure if anyone actually compiles lists of these things, but AEBN does seem to be ahead of the pack. The offerings are current, and representative of a wide range of tastes and studios. Read full review

Porn DVD sales – both gay and straight – continue to decline. Blu-ray isn't giving the industry the boost it needs and Mom and Pop videos stores with a backroom have largely vanished. In the not too distant future the only DVD porn purveyors left standing in the melee may be sites like AEBN (Adult Entertainment Broadcast Network). Read full review
