Does About My Boys deliver what it promises on the outside?

Aboutmyboys.net is a relatively new site from Berlin, it promises young guys you will stay awake for all night, in reality it’s more likely to send you to sleep. While I like amateur men, I don’t like amateur production values and this is what lets this site down. They have a fairly large preview area so you know the type of models on offer. I don’t think this site delivers exciting porn.

What's good about About My Boys? What needs improvement?

The style and layout of the website is OK, maybe a little cheap looking but the navigation is very good and the site functions well. They do have an interactive section to the site which had me interested, but all it actually offered was a blog, a mini poll, to see if you thought their website was excellent or shit (their words not mine!) and a shameless plug to stay in one of their apartments in Berlin and enjoy the private services of some of their models. There was also webcam shows offered but these were just ‘buy time’ shows widely available on the net.

The photosets were large and of a very good quality, at the time of the review there were 66 sets on offer, the majority being solo jerk off, starting clothed all the way to the naked cum shot. If you like your photosets you won’t be disappointed with the quality. The videos on offer were very quick to download because they come in a zipped format, a little bit of an annoyance but once opened the videos were of a good quality, again most of the 39 videos on offer were solo with one hardcore and one duo shoot.

‘If the videos and photos were good quality, why have you given this site a fairly low rating’ I hear you ask, the site is porn by numbers and I had the feeling most of the models were local rent boys and showed very little passion or feeling. There were a few good looking models but the majority was your typical East European twink and all you got was a brief broken English introduction and then straight to business. I thought the direction was repetitive and very uninspired. The fact the site owners were offering the ‘services’ of their models also felt a little cheap and seedy.

How is About My Boys unique?

All the models were exclusive to the site, but the direction and format of the videos was very generic. There must be hundreds of twink European sites on the net and there is very little that sets this site apart from any other.

What do paying users recieve for their money?

What you get is a small back catalogue and one video and photoset update per week. The sites tagline is ‘what we filmed last week is on the net this week’ I would strongly recommend you take a little more time and make sure the videos are better to watch. On the whole this is not a bad site but the membership monthly fee a very much on the high side in relation to the material offered. I wouldn’t recommend the site, in my opinion the content to too boring.
