I have kept my personal portfolio of on line site memeberships limited to those sites that I think give good value for the money. My definition of value includes fresh material, easy access and navigation, orginal content and design, and ease in cancellation. What actually attracts you to a particular site will depend upon your personal tastes. My goal is not to allow my own predicklitions :) to interfere with an objective summary of a site. A paid member of a site is a customer and I believe that those sites that respect their customers should be praised. Likewise, those sites that enagage in abusive pop-ups, spamming and other irritating and potentially expensive "extras" should be taken to task.
