Servers
GayGeek initially ran on a web server named George, named after 1920's and 30's cartoonist George Herriman. George drew a comic named Krazy Kat, for which the development server in the GayGeek webmaster's home is named after. (Aaron's husband, who does the server maintenance for GayGeek, named his home computer Ignatz after Krazy Kat's comic strip nemesis, Ignatz Mouse.)
On July 25, 2010, we bade George goodbye and transferred service to our new server, Opus, named after Opus the penguin from the comic strip Bloom County.
