Aaron's back... where'd he go?

Hey folks. As you may have noticed, the blog appeared last July and was promptly abandoned. It's my fault -- if I was going to take time off writing the blog, the least of which I could do is say why and when I'd be back.

Unfortunately, I'm not at liberty to say why. No, I haven't been in jail. Nor have I been in the hospital, in rehab, or in the witness protection program. I haven't been hiking in the Appalachians or having been having a passionate affair in Argentina. There will come a day in the not-too-distant future when I may be able to say where I've been, but for now know that nothing has gone wrong (quite the opposite) and all is well with my life.

In the meantime, I owe the readers of GayGeek an apology for vanishing. GayGeek has always been a full-time job for more than one person but has only had a part-time staff person ("Mike the Headgeek") as well as my part-time work. And I tend to work on GayGeek in stints -- 12+ hours a day for a month, then I turn my attention to other projects.

Know that I'm back at GayGeek. And with the resignation of Mike (see the next blog entry), I'll be sticking around on a regular basis. My intention is to take on Mike's duties myself and spend less time on some of my other projects. As part of that effort I'll be blogging regularly about whatever happens to be on my mind. I may write ten entries one week and nothing for two weeks after, but don't ever assume that I have abandoned my blog. I'm erratic like that, and dive headfirst into whatever task is in front of me. I'm a poor multi-tasker, and as such this blog reflects my personality.

And with that, it's time for me to make several blog postings. There's news afoot at GayGeek and the world of porn, and it's time I get back to work telling you about it.
